Mystery- The Haunted Town Of St. Nazianz, WI St. Nazians was founded by a priest who wholeheartedly believed to helped cursed the town. Over the years, the town has been hit with natural disasters and unexplained phenomena. Father Ambrose Oschwald was fled to Wisconsin in 1854 from religious persecution. The Roman Catholic Church had suspended him from his duties due to “mystical, prophetic, and heretical works.” Already, the scary history of the town is starting to make sense! Oddly enough, the congregation followed him. Once they got to Wisconsin, a “divine white heifer” lead them to the site of his new home which would become St. Nazianz. The community actually thrived. The Holocaust

Anti-Semitism, or hostility toward Jewish people, began in Germany as far back as the ancient world. History has recorded Romans destroying Jewish temples and causing the Jewish people to flee from their homes in Palestine. During the 17th, 18th, and 19th Centuries the Jewish people were not discriminated against due to religious toleration. During the 20th Century, however, anti-Semitism became renewed and Jewish people were once again under harsh discrimination.


During the 1930s and the 1940s, the holocaust definition began to represent a new and horrible situation that was taking place in Nazi Germany. What does the Holocaust mean? The Holocaust was the systematic state-sponsored mass killing of millions of Jews, Roma people (Gypsies), the intellectually disabled, and homosexuals by German forces under the cover of World War II.

Adolf Hitler was the leader of the Nazi regime and the organizer of the Holocaust.



Adolf Hitler was the German "Fuhrer" or supreme ruler during the Holocaust. He was obsessed with purifying the German race and making a superior race, Aryan. He also desired "Lebensraum" or more living space for his elite Aryan people. Hitler served in World War I for Germany and, like many, blamed the Jewish people for Germany's defeat in the war. After the war, he joined the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP). This group is also known as the Nazis.


Determining the number of people killed by the Nazis during the Holocaust has proven to be difficult for historians. Accurate records were not kept since the Nazis did not want any records of the horrible acts they were committing.
