Mystery- The Haunted Town Of St. Nazianz, WI St. Nazians was founded by a priest who wholeheartedly believed to helped cursed the town. Over the years, the town has been hit with natural disasters and unexplained phenomena. Father Ambrose Oschwald was fled to Wisconsin in 1854 from religious persecution. The Roman Catholic Church had suspended him from his duties due to “mystical, prophetic, and heretical works.” Already, the scary history of the town is starting to make sense! The Einsatzgruppen were SS paramilitary death squads of Nazi Germany that were responsible for mass shootings during World War II.

I did not know until today about this group. Did you?

The Nazi Einsatzgruppen and other mobile death squads were operational on the Eastern Front specifically tasked to kill Jews during World War II.

These units were primarily responsible for carrying out mass shootings, mass killings, and other forms of violence against civilians, particularly Jews and other perceived enemies of the Nazi regime.

The Einsatzgruppen were composed of SS and police personnel and were responsible for implementing the "Final Solution," which aimed to exterminate the Jewish population in the occupied territories of Eastern Europe.

Their operations included rounding up and executing large numbers of people, often in mass shootings, in places such as forests, ravines, and pits.

These death squads played a significant role in the Holocaust, and their actions resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people.

Their brutal and systematic actions were part of the broader Nazi plan to eliminate entire populations they deemed undesirable.
