Mystery- The Haunted Town Of St. Nazianz, WI St. Nazians was founded by a priest who wholeheartedly believed to helped cursed the town. Over the years, the town has been hit with natural disasters and unexplained phenomena. Father Ambrose Oschwald was fled to Wisconsin in 1854 from religious persecution. The Roman Catholic Church had suspended him from his duties due to “mystical, prophetic, and heretical works.” Already, the scary history of the town is starting to make sense! Oddly enough, the congregation followed him. Once they got to Wisconsin, a “divine white heifer” lead them to the site of his new home which would become St. Nazianz. The community actually thrived. The army of 'Amr ibn al-'As led the Muslims to conquer Egypt between 639 and 646 AD. The Rashidun Caliphate was in charged  of everything in the land. It ended the seven-hundred-year rule of Egypt by the Romans, which began in 30 BC. 

The war led to the captivation of Egyptians by Sasanians.
Egypt had been taken over and ruled by the Sasanian Empire from 618 to 629, before the Byzantine emperor Heraclius took it back. The caliphate took advantage of the fact that the Byzantines were tired and took over Egypt ten years after Heraclius had taken it back.

By the middle of the year 630, the Caliphate had already taken over the Levant and its Ghassanid allies in Arabia. The loss of the wealthy province of Egypt and the defeat of the Byzantine armies made the empire much weaker and helpless which led to more territory losses over the next few hundred years.
