Two iconic African American slaves undergoing the punishment of "mosquito torture."

This is a very cruel and heartbreaking event. The picture from 1864 shows two iconic African American slaves undergoing the punishment of "mosquito torture." From the 15th century onward, the slave trade lasted for nearly four hundred years, during which over one hundred million black people died at the hands of slave traders and plantation owners. May the world be free from war and enslavement, and may there be peace.
