Mystery- The Haunted Town Of St. Nazianz, WI St. Nazians was founded by a priest who wholeheartedly believed to helped cursed the town. Over the years, the town has been hit with natural disasters and unexplained phenomena. Father Ambrose Oschwald was fled to Wisconsin in 1854 from religious persecution. The Roman Catholic Church had suspended him from his duties due to “mystical, prophetic, and heretical works.” Already, the scary history of the town is starting to make sense! Oddly enough, the congregation followed him. Once they got to Wisconsin, a “divine white heifer” lead them to the site of his new home which would become St. Nazianz. The community actually thrived. In 1939, the parents of a 5-year-old girl from Peru named Lina Medina began to become worried when they discovered she had an incredibly swollen stomach.

Afraid that she was growing a tumor, her parents immediately took her to a hospital in the city. But what the doctors found was even more shocking than a tumour.

They discovered that Lina was 7 months pregnant at just 5 years of age.

Lina actually had a rare condition called precocious puberty, which caused her body to begin to mature much earlier than it was supposed to.

This condition led to Lina starting to menstruate from the age of 8 months old.

Despite still being a child herself, Lina gave birth to a healthy baby boy via a C-section, making her the youngest mother ever at just 5 years, seven months, and 21 days old.

Following the birth of her child, Lina’s story garnered worldwide attention and many offers for paid interviews, but her family turned them all down.

Lina’s son was raised as her brother and the father of her child was never discovered.
