Mystery- The Haunted Town Of St. Nazianz, WI St. Nazians was founded by a priest who wholeheartedly believed to helped cursed the town. Over the years, the town has been hit with natural disasters and unexplained phenomena. Father Ambrose Oschwald was fled to Wisconsin in 1854 from religious persecution. The Roman Catholic Church had suspended him from his duties due to “mystical, prophetic, and heretical works.” Already, the scary history of the town is starting to make sense! Oddly enough, the congregation followed him. Once they got to Wisconsin, a “divine white heifer” lead them to the site of his new home which would become St. Nazianz. The community actually thrived. This woman still holds strong, despite showing bad lacerations to her face after she was beaten by guards at the Bergen Belsen concentration camp. She survived the camp and this picture was taken by British soldiers the day the camp was liberated.


At least 70,000 people died at Bergen Belsen. It was initially opened in 1940 as a prisoner-of-war camp, but in 1943 it was expanded and modified to begin killing mass amounts of people who were deemed unfit to be future citizens of Germany's empire. Notable people to have been killed there are Anne Frank and Margot Frank. 

Anne Frank became famous around the world after her diary was published to global audiences. It goes into detail about Frank's life, primarily about her time hiding for 2 years from the Germans as her family were Jewish.  

Though the world is oftentimes cast into darkness, all it takes is just one person to hold up the light. Light will always conquer darkness, and love will always touch the hearts of evil kin.
