Mystery- The Haunted Town Of St. Nazianz, WI St. Nazians was founded by a priest who wholeheartedly believed to helped cursed the town. Over the years, the town has been hit with natural disasters and unexplained phenomena. Father Ambrose Oschwald was fled to Wisconsin in 1854 from religious persecution. The Roman Catholic Church had suspended him from his duties due to “mystical, prophetic, and heretical works.” Already, the scary history of the town is starting to make sense! Oddly enough, the congregation followed him. Once they got to Wisconsin, a “divine white heifer” lead them to the site of his new home which would become St. Nazianz. The community actually thrived. Police found the victim’s body on Friday but said that they believe he was killed the evening before, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

The 35-year-old victim was the owner of at least 13 pit bulls — including eight puppies — that investigators suspect he was breeding.

His body was found in one of the outdoor kennels he had set up to house the dogs.

Local reporters with Sky5 were able to capture the horrific scene on camera in aerial footage early Friday.

Public images were blurred, but police could be seen helping an unknown woman escape from the yard by climbing a fence in the video.

Officials said the bloody scene made it appear as if the dogs had gotten into a fight that somehow ended up involving their owner.

“He was feeding the dogs at which point maybe there was an altercation between some of the dogs and [they] ultimately attacked and mauled the victim,” Michael Gomez of LASD’s Homicide Bureau told local CW affiliate KTLA.

Officers went to the man’s Compton home after a friend of the victim visited the property and found his body, officials said.

When police arrived, the pit bulls were roaming around freely and had to be corralled by animal control before being taken away.

“Preliminary information suggests that the deceased individual was involved in breeding and selling pit bulls,” animal control officials said in a statement.

Officials said the man’s father consented to have the animals impounded and examined by Animal Care & Control.
