Mystery- The Haunted Town Of St. Nazianz, WI St. Nazians was founded by a priest who wholeheartedly believed to helped cursed the town. Over the years, the town has been hit with natural disasters and unexplained phenomena. Father Ambrose Oschwald was fled to Wisconsin in 1854 from religious persecution. The Belsen Nazi Concentration Camp

Bergen-Belsen, also known as Belsen, was a Nazi concentration camp during World War II. The photograph you mentioned captures a significant moment in the camp's history. Dr. Fritz Klein, a camp doctor, is seen standing in a mass grave on April 24, 1945, while a British soldier stands guard. Surrounding the pit are SS guards who were forced to run. This photograph symbolizes the liberation of Bergen-Belsen and the accountability of those responsible for the atrocities committed there.

Dr. Fritz Klein, like many other war criminals, faced justice for his actions. He was captured and subsequently tried for his involvement in the camp's atrocities. On December 12, 1945, Dr. Klein was hanged for his role in the horrors of Bergen-Belsen.

The liberation of Bergen-Belsen by British forces in April 1945 was a pivotal moment in the war. The camp was infamous for its appalling conditions, starvation, and the widespread disease that claimed the lives of tens of thousands of prisoners, including Anne Frank. The photographs taken during the liberation of Bergen-Belsen serve as a stark reminder of the horrors of the Holocaust and the importance of preserving the memory of those who suffered and died there.
